Description

This is no Moonlight, it is in fact high noon, with the Sun at it's zenith... you wouldn't believe the acrobatics one has to go through, to get this un-usual shot of a Dandelion puff-ball, which I find is quite an interesting result...not to mention, when the ants started to bite me. Cheers *BB*

I'd believe the acrobatics involved....very difficult. Worth it for this nice pic.

Worth the trouble!

Very good eye, the way the light is caught by the thin semi-transparent filaments, its like a bunch of tiny fiber optics! :) Certainly worth the effort, but some of those ant you got in Australia are downright dangerous! The jaws on the Jumper Ants are crazy prehistoric large!

The bites were worth it to get this beautiful capture, it looks like a splendid glowing halo. Lovely to see a posting from you.

Hope the ant bites have stopped itching. Out of the ordinary acrobatics for a super extraordinary shot! This is beautiful and grabbed my attention from the thumbnail pic.

Gorgeous. And for me, funny. I have two friends with hair like this. One of them is Russian, and tends to go by the nickname of Dandelion...only he spells it "Dendi Lion." I thought of him when I saw this image. And as for the image itself, it's superb! I love the unique POV and the details that just jump right out of this. Great work!
