You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Wow- Jeff likes to kick up the volumetrics in the real world too! hahah! Good eye for capturing this, and for braving the dust storm, hard to believe its almost time for another season change- of course the opposite for me, unfortunately, meaning winter is just around the corner. Save a spot for me in the guest house! ;)

Wow, hope you do get rain soon...it sure made for a COOL image though! Good thinking on capturing it!

Jeez! You really do need some rain! I guess Jeff's choking in the dust there. I'm choking just looking at it! Beautiful volumetrics, though. :^) It's finally beginning to cool down here. Hope you get some rain before it gets really hot!

How cool, to see the shafts of light in the dust; I sympathize with you about the dryness, though, we've had an unbearably dry summer here! Excellent shots!

I love your shots of Jeff with all the dust. I love the light beams. You certainly do look to be dry. We are having an early spring too with some lovely days.

know the feeling... dust on the car, water advisorys, as soon as you can water something, it rains, either enough to just get things muddy, or too much and then you got lakes when your front lawn should be... nce to see the boy doing more than just sitting behind a computer, creating the future.... (welcome back to the present Jeff... ye'll like it here!)
helanker
WOW ! What kind of lawn are you trying to remove there? LOL! Fantastic captures indeed.
