you capture big bold stone backgrounds as if they were alive; you zoom-in on objects and let the background fill up the shot. That's what you did here. I agree with Jodie that you captured real brightness tucked away...and the flowers just "appear" there, between two walls; and they're simple & bold & bright. A simple shot but poetic & big & bold. (Vitae...) After seeing several of your drawings & paintings, I sometimes forget how good your photographs are! A fine shot, Ana: simple, bold, sculptural, and beautiful. I love those flowers. I hope you'll post more photography, you're so good at it...

The flowers are called 'red hot poker' and I love them. You managed to make them even hotter and more alive in your photograph. I like the contrast between the colorful plants and the white walls, and the curved lines of the plants vs the straight geometric lines of the walls. Excellent job!

WOW! Amazing! This is a bold statement if ever there was one! The red and white is astounding...so sharp a contrast but it isn't jarring at all. If there was ever such a thing as muscular work, this is it...I love it!
