this series on veterans is very moving. I'm only skipping so I can cover some ground...but I saw the other pieces in this series as well. (And I really appreciated the quote from Henry Patch. This has the feeling of ritual or theater performance, and a solemn one at that. The light is beautiful, and the highlighting intense. Your colors have a golden tint to them...And while I can recognize modern dress, this could be something from another age too. Hauntingly done, expressive, and a very touching series.
