Some weeks ago I made a series of images featuring small planets to which I called micro-worlds, links below. Some of these images were intentionally a bit retro sci-fi. I came back to the theme now with this new image, I hope you like it. I sure had fun modelling those creatures and creating that terrain! :-)
No postwork except for a bit of level correction

The creatures are the elements that make this image for me - weird and wonderful. The environment serves to enhance them and provide room for the imagination, what does it look like when they go back into their holes? are there tunnels connecting them or do they need to surface to interact with each other? fun to watch and fun to think about.
