Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

A Chevelle? Can barely remember that model. Fine lighting, textures and color bandings in this snap, M!

Great shot and post work. I Want one, I wanna to see its sleek lines, glowing colours and hear its roaring rat motor. One of my all time favourites, this bowtie lends it'self to the pro-street look.

I love the postwork too...it does look like poster edges, but whatever it is, you made a big abstract expressionist painting with simple color areas and lines, and the light is big and bold, and you had the guts to give that big bright area of white with nothing in it but itself...you're letting these things guide you without a care! Bold & powerful, I really like this! Man, this car show really came at a good time! You're all over these buggers!
