Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Astonishing mouthparts.

That's what my doctor, dentist, and dental hygienist say to me during each visit. Splendid POV employed to capture the chrome-laden grin on this old road warrior, Maz. Is that a natural or postwork added flare in the middle of the bumper?

fantastic POV!!

Ooh, Corey would LOVE this one! I love it too, but Corey is the Car Nut!!! Great details and colors here, wonderful "under the hood" intimacy as well! This is stunning work. I need to catch up, but things got weird here, but I'm really glad to see this and take a break! Fantastic work!

big sandwich shot, lots of sweep, I love that you included the shadow on the ground (thus the 'sandwich' from several layers) and you cropped the piece right at the top of the chassis, so it's sandwiched in just right...and the lens flare is a fine touch. Another fine car shot!
