Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

boy, when you get blues, you get blues; when you get reds, you get reds; when you get whites...well you get the point. Another powerful shot of a 'part' of a car, in which you make the part a world to itself. And there's such freshness to these, as if seen by a photographer who's never seen a car before and is mesmerized by all the sheen & glitter it has. You really make those blues & whites sing...big bold & new & brash, another vital shot from this show. I love it.
