I am married with children haha "24 years" I love to take pictures and write poetry. but as much as I love to take pictures my real passion is my poetry. I hope to someday write a 1,000 poems. I am at about 400 so I got a ways to go. I love RR. it is a great place to meet and make artist friends. besides all of that I lead a pretty boaring life haha. I hope to someday take up Poser but I am not very patient so I don't know when I will start that. It seems to me like it would take a lot of patients. That is pretty much all there is to me.

I've been there and now all I do is take it one day at a time. that's all any of us can do

We all leave some mark, small though it may be. But I understand this so well.

Think of how many people your words have touched and influenced. Think of all the work that you have created and how it may have affected people. To touch people with your art and to affect even just ONE person's life for the better is one of the most amazing things that can be done in the world. So take heart and stop counting the seconds!

Many people would be satisfied having accomplished the things you have accomplished in your life. However, it's your life, and only you can say if what you've done is sufficient. If you still feel like you haven't done enough, my friend, then GET BUSY!! (I just thought seven comments patting you on the head was plenty. SOMEBODY needs to take the other road! LOL! You know I mean that in the most supportive way!) :D

I really do love your work. Its so honest and captures so much of what it is like to be human(and not on prozac)LOL. Seriously though, please keep writing because i am looking forward so much to reading more. When are you going to publish?

I know how you feel...and I take one day at a time...I just don't know what I want in life...lol

I concur with your feelings. What I find interesting is nihilistic feelings such as you have expressed are how we choose to react to the fact that we will die. The question I'm asking myself is: why can't I choose to react differently to this knowledge? Am I bound like a slave to react negatively to my mortality, or can I transcend this and go on and enjoy life anyway?

"The ancient Greek definition of happiness was the full use of your powers along lines of excellence." ~John F. Kennedy~ I don't know, Randy. Seems to me you fit that definition perfectly.

Quando um poema solta-se da alma, tocando profundamente no coração de quem lê, é algo memoravel meu amigo, assim como este, aplausos (5)

Deep thoughts; and yes, I know exactly what you mean. I have the same feelings and thoughts myself. I have kept a journal since 1974. :) Not that I have much to say, as I am no world traveler or live a fancy life; but its the little things I wanted to write down and capture .. because its those little things that mean the most to me. So, get that book published .. you will have then accomplished just what you wish for.
