Thanks so much for your support yesterday--it really meant a lot!
I'll continue to leave long comments, just not as many or as often,
I appreciate your wonderfully supportive words.
I'm headed for your galleries now...
Peace!

That window is Fantastissimo!! I have a thing about windows and mirrors...both in buildings, particularly my home, and in art. This superb drawing panders to the second. It is worth an upload on its own! Just leave a couple of '!!' if you're pressed for time, we'll know you've seen the pic, and just that means a lot.

Mark I agree with Andrea, that the first deserves a post of its own and I SO adore it. It is a stunning peace of art, which I would LUUV to see more of. Your ornaments are always a joy looking at. They are so neat done. I like your "roach". It has sort of doodle over it. I like that. The bottle is really pro created. As I said before. You can do anything. Anything.

thanks, everyone! And I never thought of posting the window alone...I'll think about it more next time! I'm not objective with these things, I appreciate your inputs on this.

I must confess I saved your wonderful gallery for last Mark before I head out for the day and I'm so glad as did as this is such a treat. What you call "Old Stuff" is a fabulous collection of amazing works of art. There is so much to take in and instantly my eyes are pulled toward the old window that is brought to life so well thanks to the fine detailing. Your Architectural Ornaments are great also as the fine detailing in them must have taken forever. And who wouldn't love the roach as it is such a surreal image in appearance. The unfinished whale is magnificent and I am dying to know the story behind it. Finally the Ad Poster is perfectly done and would make any company proud for displaying their product.

These are wonderful views into your mind, Mark; I especially love the first one, for some reason. Ink sketches have always spoken deeply to me, and this is lovely!

All your old stuff is new to us. Thanks for sharing. CC

a new series of interesting works! i particularly love the unfinished whale, even if i didn't read the title at first i thought it was a salmon, ;D).

The window grabbed me right away as well, but then the more I looked, the more I saw. It became a closely woven basket with diamonds for extra sparkle. And then I look at the rest of these and each one is SO distinctly YOU, with your style, your true self---I just get lost in what you do all the time!! More, please!!!

I like all of them. Fantastic works!!

Wonderful work! I love the personality and detailing of that window; that cockroach is fun--I like the lines, and up close, it appears to me to have a human face; I like the movement/arch of the whale, and that final acrylic bottle is stunning. I love sparkling cider, and bottles with labels. You've captured the look of glass very well.

Really nice images! Excellent artwork!

And I love your old stuff!! There is NO way I am going to choose a favorite of these 5 as the others will just get jealous. But, OH.. the detail in each one is exquisite. I especially love to stare at the bar above the ornamental architecture. You drew every single speck there, didn't ya? Whew. Just amazing work. All of it. A+ for you, today. No clapping of erasers, either!

!!! (I love Andrea's idea!) I'm drawn to the window, as well. Wow. Wow!

A vast variety of textural techniques adorn these elegant works, Mark! Picture #1 appears to have been treated with the Poster Edges filter. Picture #2 a nice crosshatch style. Picture #4 done on canvas and then grunged. Picture #5 a lovely wraithlike effect, with ectoplasm to spare. Glad you brought these out of obscurity for all to share!

After read magnuso73 i agree completely and i couldn´t say better!! YES!! what you put here is a seniority,an higher category, and not an "old stuff"that for me means "youtdated" and forgive me if i contradict you:))) but seriously Mark:thank you for this...quite fantastic! And i cannot choose..i´m with jodie!but i love a lot the ornaments with india-ink because i love the way your pen runs the paper:fast and positive!and the other that grab my eye is the Cockroach because the simplicity of your lines, with so much mouvement and so "alive" here...

Windows and doors .. i love them! And this one is so uniquely you .. and then there's those scrolls, grins, very cool! How you can manage to make a cockroach attractive and not repulsive is beyond me! and the whale .. probably my fave, except for the sparkling cider, not because it's the image but because I love sweet cider, and have not ever had sparkling cider .. something new to try!
