Everyone:
As you've noticed, I've not been able to keep up these days. I never realized the time it took to write long comments, but I've begun to see at last (sigh). And it's not that shorter comments are less caring---they aren't, not a bit! I just love to write long comments, I truly do. It's just 'me'...
But this summer it's become insurmountable, as I catch up from illness & losses. So I have to make some changes to make it easier:
I'm going to mix shorter with longer comments. I know you're fine with that, but I just wanted to tell you all. And for those of you with Gallery Plus (sigh): When I've been away, I may have to skip some images. It's just that when I'm offline for 4 days, there can be 12 images to catch up with when I return. So please: if you have anything you want me to see, tell me! You've been so loyal to me, all of you, you can ask me anytime! I love sharing your art whenever I can.
Finally, you know the "good" side to all this?
Commenting on 8 images in one gallery can be just wonderful! I get a total dose of your art, I get a real sense of 'you', and I walk away like I've just been to a one-person show. That's a wonderful feeling, believe me.
Anyway, I'll get to you all eventually, that's a promise.
Peace to all!
Mark
Great light & recovery to our dear friend, Bill.
Light be with you!

Mark first of all please don't push yourself so hard my friend as I know you've been through so much recently as you mentioned and your health is what matters now. As for these wondeful images on very old paper I think they are wonderful and hope if you have time you'll maybe give me some more background on them. Each one is amazing and your unique style and caring can be seen throughout.

Oh, Mark, you give SO much of yourself in everything you do. Please do NOT worry about commenting, we know you're out there looking and that's what counts. And as far as this "old" work goes--well, each one is so unique. I think I like the second one best, reminds me of shells on the beach, of all things. (Yes, I DO tend to see the beach everywhere!!) You pick one up and look at it and can see so many things. This one speaks to me. The last one looks like a vase, and I want to put flowers in it, so my house is full of wild color and life!! Take care, my friend, you gotta save your strength for September, which is coming up SOON!!! You ROCK!!!
MrsRatbag
Please don't feel you need to comment on everything, I have also learned how very much time it all takes, and that there's just only so much of it around. Your health is the most important thing to all of us! We know you're looking; even just a smiley face would convey the message that you liked it! And you need time to do your own art, too...

Hey Mark, I agree with everyone else, don't stress over commenting on uploads, artwork, photos, barns LOL, just ENJOY it all. I know I don't comment on everyones daily work, I try to get to as much as I can, and then move on. I hope you are enjoying your summer, a little bragging here but its only up to 77 degrees so far today at 1:30 in the afternoon in August?? wow how is the weather up north? Waving can you see me?? lol have a good day my friend.

That middle one is a masterpiece!! Well, they are all marvellous, but that one is Something else!! and I wondered when you would see 'the error of your ways' so to speak! You have given so much of yourself and so much pleasure to so many it will last us all for a very long time!

OH Mark, You know how I love your drawings and paintings. Your gentleness never fail. It is there in all the medias. This drawing is so sweet and lovely. The middle one, which is my favorite, is absolutely gorgeous and so fascinating to look at. I just love it. But I also love your elegant watercolor. What a joy to put my eyes on. Thank you for sharing this. I agree with all your fans. They are right on what they say and you know I mean the same. Maybe Now you are convinced, that is is ok to shorten or cut down on your comments and thinking about your health first. Keep getting better, my friend. :-))) You too, Bill :-)

Lovely colorful creation,Mark. As others have already said, don't worry about commenting on every single image. It's humanly impossible. Too much good art going on here at Renderosity.

It is fun when you share these older creations. The paper is from the 70s? Wow! The last one is like a psychedelic waterfall. Please don't worry about commenting. Take care of your health and your own creativity first and foremost. You are such a giving, nurturing, and positive person, and you will be doing your friends and followers a great service by taking care of you for us.

fine images, mark and, as many said before: think about your health first.

Lovely triumverate of penciled images, Mark, close to what Andrea displays from her repertoire of olde art works. As for comments, I've sometimes wondered how you found the time and energy to submit those elegant words of lengthy prose of yours. You should not feel even a scintilla of remorse in short comments or narration. You have already established yourself as a kind, thoughtful and caring person, so not to worry. Your health and well being take precedence over everything else. Andrea and Lizzibell are masters of one and two word comments, and it hasn't hurt them any. Or at least I don't think it's hurt them. As for myself, my time on the computer is limited due to back problems, so I try to say what I have to say in the most brief, compact, concise, laconic, pithy, succinct, and terse manner I can, which is often a futile effort because many of my postings need deep explanation and information. But I do try to keep my comments on the work of others to a bare minimum.

WOW!You were a "child" here!I love all of them,Mark! So Beautiful and so YOU the same..So much music i can "see" in your watercolour. But what i really love more is the first with pencil...soft,tender,done with so much care and running the same with so much energy!Yet i love that four subtle bits of black in the petals. Thank you for sharing this! AND about comments,Mark, everybody said it all:You and your health are very important for all of us as well the art, your art, that is a pleasure to see..so,take care of you for us!

I like the charm of the first image, the depth of the second, and the fluidity of the third, so don't expect me to choose one over the others! As for commenting ... just say "no" to doing too much! I'm quite sure if we could leave more than one comment on an artist's work, you'd be leaving second comments as well (ps ... ) :DD Remind me to tell you about my solution to the commenting problem. I resolved the issue over a year ago, and haven't regretted my choices since! (Not because I think you should do what I'm doing, but to share a "success story" and be all encouraging and upbeat and stuff.) :P

Beautiful...

Totally cool work and I understanding about the comments. I will be happy with just a few simple words. Take care my friend.

Really beautiful Mark !

First of all, I like those old pieces, but i'm not an art critic, so the comment is the most superficial; i can say that i like them because they give me joy. I hope this was the painter's intention! i'm always struggling with being update with the galleries, and i try to leave at least a sign i saw the work. I's good to have even a 'nice' to witness that someone has appreciated enough to drop a comment, however short. My modest proposal (;D)) is: why don't we leave at least the shorthand 'Kilroy? as in Kilroy Was Here!'? it means that we haven't time to drop something longer, but we'd like to! Ciao, Sandra

lovely work my friend x

LOL@circa 1970...pfft! That is NOT old... ok?? First of all... these are incredible once again. The first one is so much like (but better than) the leaf rubbings my kids do in the fall. BUT... you choose better colors and have that professional flair. The second one (I break my rule and choose it as my fave) is like a cameo or broach carved from Ivory tusks and etched in cocoa bean oils. Such a beautiful brown tone! The bottom one - well just HAS to be a Pitcher Plant all dolled up for the night. So stately and regal, you see. That is what I see. I spent the day praying for Bill. Hugs to you and him both.

I love these images. Gorgeous creations. Each a lovely child brought about with love and caring kindness. I do understand what you mean by the comments. I have to pick one out of many from each of my favorite artists and it is hard. It is the only way I can do it right now. My travel is up to 60% and may be up to 80% soon. I just don't have the luxery of time any more. Hugs to you my dear friend.

AWESOME!!!!!:)

Okay then Mark, I have to say that I agree with everyone .. you have to take of YOU first and foremost. And I tell you this for selfish reasons .. if you don't take care of yourself, where will I find such work that I would immerse myself so totally in, and pour over each color and nuance ??? So .. sob .. cut back on those beautiful little essays you leave as comments, even though you get so much pleasure from writing and we get SO much pleasure out of reading them .. and focus instead on creating, and write a treasure trove of words to go with your art instead .. and that should satisfy your need to create with words as well. And we will have double the pleasure .. your word art and your painting/digital art. This piece is awesome .. each little jewel glows on it's own with no need for it's neighbor. Each little jewel fills the eyes and minds with beauty. Each is beautiful.
