The "ball" is not displacing the terrain (assuming that the ball is similar to a clear beachball). The picture, as it stands, conjures up a thought of an alien habitat rather than a fantasy ball.

no comment on the image, but on your composition...I'm glad to see the alien habitat was not the centre of the image, you place it slightly off-centre which is good and far more interesting for viewers...
