Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Well you seem to have captured his masterful hands quite well. Am checking in via the local city library....will be here on and off until I can get other things back in order.

shots of musicians' hands are always tricky, and sometimes they're meant to be captured in motion anyway (as in film). But for still work, you got a typical guitarist's run in full regalia, and caught the picking hand in a fine moment of separation from the strings—not easy to capture. For that alone, this would be a fine performance shot. Another good shot of a guitarist in action.
