Description
This image is dedicated to Peggy (Pearl3D). She is a wonderful lady that has been a dear friend to me for a long time. Peggy is a vendor and creates some of the most wonderful products out there. She can do almost anything when it comes to art as she does work in Poser and Mixed Medium. I'm lucky she has been with me through good times and bad for both of us and her friendship is important to me. I've wanted to do a dedication to her for a long time and I was so thrilled when she finally agreed. Peggy was afraid she couldn't think of any fun memories until recently she got a new cat after her two older cats passed on. Her new cat reminded her of her first kitty from long ago named Kosjka, and one of the many fun memories she had of him.
Quest For Kosjka (For Pearl3D): One evening Peggy's parents went out for the night and they got her cousin Gigl to babysit their kids. Peggy, her sister Iris and her brother Pascal had fun playing until it was time for bed. Gigl asked them to pick up their toys and put them in the closet. Finally Peggy and her siblings were ready for bed when she noticed her cat Kosjka was gone! The kids searched all over the house, turning it upside down. Gigl thought the kitty must be outside, and they could search for her tomorrow. Little Peggy got so upset and refused to go to bed if her kitty was outside in the cold. She put on a very dramatic scene until Gigl finally agreed to help them search. All the kids, still in their pajamas took flashlights and went into the streets late at night to search for Kosjka. Peggy and her siblings searched for a long time and it became a big adventure. After a while Gigl convinced them to go home, but Peggy was so sad and worried about Kosjka. When they got home they heard a noise from the closet where they put their toys earlier. Her sister Iris opened the door and out ran their precious Kosjka. He leaped into Peggy's arms and she was so happy. She took him to her bed and hugged him in her arms all night, never wanting to let him get lost again.

nice work and story...I will check her site out...your next image is number 100 I am glad peggy got to found the cat. It sounds like the cat is very cuddly cat if it stays in her arms all night. I had a cat like that.

what a nice story. those tricky kitty cats can get lost very easily. the scene you created here is wonderful, Dave. the faces on the kids are wonderful and the pose of the little boy is cute in his blue pajamas. I like the pictures on the wall and the flashlights in everybody's hands... those are nice touches and bring this to life so well. I also really like the point of view, it makes me feel part of the scene.

Awesome story! I can so see one of my kids locking the poor kitty in the closet with the toys. Love your picture showing the 'recovery' of the cat. :) Wonderful pose with the little girl (Peggy). Love her expression of joy with a bit of surprise. Great composition to show all the characters with the open closet door and the toys within. Great lighting too. (You always do really good lighting - your renders are so crisp and clear.) Love the kids' jammies. Cute outfit for the cousin - yep, that's what a babysitter would wear. You obviously put a lot of thought into this one. Great dedi for Peggy who's a wonderful artist and vendor. Well done!

Excellent Dedi to Peggy for sure. Great story and anyone who knows cats knows this would be so predictable... cats get themselves into the most amazing places! Going into a closet for a nap and then finding themselves locked in is pretty commonplace. Great posing as par the course.. so cute.
