The recliner kicked back
Eyes closed
The headset on
Nobody knows
What’s going on inside
I keep playing songs
That keep breaking my heart
But at least they remind me of you
I want you so bad
That I endure the pain
Just to have you in my mind
I keep remembering the dance
On the beach
In the rain
We were drenched in love
And the rain never even bothered us
Someday the pain will be more than I can take
Then I will set you free
But not today

You often post poems about lost love and i wonder if it's about you and i feel so sorry for you but i guess...i know that feeling pain is sometimes better than feeling nothing at all.

Sure to strike a chord with those that have gone through this. Personally I believe it is better to let go of pain BEFORE it becomes more than you can take. By that time it has become something else... Once again, powerful words.
