Description

We saw these ridiculous shoes, created by Vivienne Westwood, in the Science Museum, London. Is this a new twist on the meaning of carpet slippers?! There is a 'Materials' exhibition where we can explore the world of materials, from the leading edge of scientific innovation to new insights into everyday objects. Walk on a glass bridge; see a steel wedding dress or visit the atomic disco with its giant molecular models.

I'd wear these in a heartbeat if they make them in my giant size. :-) I get a kick out of wearing the absurb which is why, probably, I usually go places by myself these days. :-)

Thank you Andrea for introducing us to 'Dadaism', we've looked it up and here's the definition for those others who may not know: "Dada art is nonsensical to the point of whimsy." "Dada was intended to provoke an emotional reaction from the viewer (typically shock or outrage)." "Dada had only one rule: Never follow any known rules."
