Description

I'm back! At long last... A big thanks goes out to N. Fredman on this one, as she kept me going on it when I'd all but given up. She even helped me fix the highlights on the hair, as I'd been struggling with that bit. This uses a whole slew of goodies (too long to mention), plus a whack of post-work (which is what really took the time) for the hair, gunfire, smoke, etc. If you have questions about what I used, just email me and I'll fill ya in on what was used. So here it is... (click for the myriad of small details, as per usual) I call this one: "SNIKT" Story time! On a road trip to Northern British Columbia, Logan hears tell about this little joint that sells the best slice of pumpkin pie around. The very thought of the moist filling and flakey crust, with a big dollop of whip cream had his heightened senses buzzing. Logan parks his bike around the back making sure that no one is around to mess with his ride, when he suddenly catches the scent - sweat, stale cigarettes, a nip of Jack, cheap cologne and something else... Fear. Agression. An ambush. Weapon X flunkies for certain. Here to try to capture their prized possession. Or at least, die trying. Before he could get back to his bike, the hail of bullets comes - stinging his flesh, ripping into him - he staggers back a few steps, but quickly catches himself and steadies his stance. He could feel his muscles knitting themselves back together with every passing moment, but for every wound that was healed, more were opening up - the gunmen were unrelenting. They knew that it was the only way to take the Wolverine down... but he'd suffered worse. Far worse. Logan could feel the rage rising, like the crest of a wave, barreling toward the shore - there was no stopping it. He lets it rise. A slow, gutteral growl escapes from his throat as he closes the distance. He unsheathes them - 6 instruments of death and carnage just waiting to be released. As they rip out of his skin, they make that distinctive sound - SNIKT! Time for some payback...
