So, here is my latest. A quick one for me too. Started out doing another scene altogether and ended up with this, which I am pleased with on the whole. Will likely get back to my original idea with this character. I think he's good enough to stick around in my runtime for a while. ;) So, this is a character which has been haunting my brain for some time. First saw him in a window in Florida as a little statue. I was window shopping after hours and was just captured by the sombre coolness (of the original sculpture) of him. The sort of non-chalante urban angel thing fit really well into a film idea that I had been toying with for some time. And so a year later, when my folks were heading back to the area, I asked them if the guy was still there to pick him up for me. To my great pleasure, he was and has been with me, keeping an eye on me, ever since! This is kind of a riff on him - rather different, but keeping the spirit of him. I titled this "Urban Angel: Zephyr" PS. not really an angel in the biblical sense... more like a bird-man, but we'll get to that in the future...
