Description
“Names Cpl. Sean Williams,” he said, “but everybody calls me Joker.” The wide infectious grin he shot my way left little doubt why he had that particular moniker. Three years ago, he was gangly kid hailing from New Detroit, a second-generation Martian terraformer. Then the Khaan attacked Earth. “Never been to Earth before,” he explained, his smile fading for the first time, “but when they invaded, I was like, aw hell no! Went straight to a TDF Marine recruiter and BAM, here I am, knee deep in Da Shit.” Excerpt from Battleground Earth: Scenes from the Front Lines.

This is one of my taste. At the moment I am publishing some science fiction ones as well as I really love Sci-Fi, especially the "darker" kind... This one is a great piece, really like the combination of all the elements you used here!
