Description
One final tribute to my cat, Checkers. She was by far the most perfect cat I have ever had the pleasure to be owned by. She was sweet, fun, loving and would talk to you with her soft "meow" that would warm your heart. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Yes, she died of Squamous Cell Carcinoma (oral cancer) on August 12th. She was rather young to be be diagnosed with this horrible disease. She did live a good life though as a rescue kitty and I am thankful for the joy she brought to our lives.

I share you loss and the deep feelings that they manage to fill our hearts with. She had such an expressive face! I had my beautiful "KC" for 15 years.

So beautiful! She had lovely eyes and whiskers. So sad, illness cut her life short, but that it was a happy one with you is obvious in the pictures. My avatar is a picture of my first cat, many years gone, but never forgotten. When the hurt eases, warm memories remain.

What a beautiful tribute to "the Checkers." She was one of the most photogenic cats I have ever seen. It's amazing how they come into our lives and take over. Just think of her sitting on Jesus' lap. That's one happy cat! < || : 0-) < ||
