Description

Thank you for all the positive vibes, love and prayers you are sending my way. I am waiting on test results. Right now all I know is we caught something at one of the very first signs. This sign is commonly ignored, especially in women who still cycle. So if you have tenderness in the breasts DON'T ignore it!!!!!!!!!! It could be nothing, but it could be something, please just get it checked out So the good news we are catching it soon. The bad news we don't know which "it" it is until the results come back. I posted a tortoise, during my waiting period I am adopting it as my new totem to help give me strength to be patient. Waiting sucks, but what can you do? Thank you for looking and all the most awesome comments on all my previous post. Have a great evening, Love, Cheri

The fact that we will be dealing with a cancer really bites, waiting to find out which bites even more. To me it's like being in a fight, having someone punching you, but you have to wait to fight back, while others are assessing the opponent. Is he older or younger than you, taller or shorter, in good physical shape, or will you lay him out flat with your first swing,......once it's ok to swing back. Be patient now, we still need to measure his reach, in order to determine if you should duck to one side or step in, all the while you are still standing there getting hit. Maybe a stupid analogy, but this is what it feels like to me. I'm ready to get on with it, kick its ass and move on. I wish it were possible to trade places, I'd do it in a heartbeat. There is no way we don't win this fight. I love you baby!

wonderful shot! I was lucky because some months ago i got a simple operation to my womb and it was nothing, which means that it hadn't the time to develop. I hope it's the same for you!

Waiting is the worst of all in these instances, and I can very well understand your apprehension. I'm not religious, so all I can say is best of luck, Cheri! Stellar POV and clarity in this shot of the slow and easy tortoise, with nary a care in the world, as it crawls its ponderous way across the sand to the fence area.

Sending you all the best wishes, Cheri! And a tortoise seems a really good choice. Not only are they patient - they're also long-lived. nods sagely Good totem!

I know about what you are talking about and early attention is a great idea. I've been through this a few years ago and chances are, all is just fine. Love this turtle shot! Good job.

Positive vibes and love are the best in moments like this. I don't know you but I had to encourage you as I went through the same thing last year. Like you, I caught it early so it was localized (in situ). The first moments of finding out are crazy but after that, if you let it, you will find "something" is holding you up somehow. It felt like a spiritual force with me at the time, later I found out it might have been adrenaline and as I was going through surgery, I did feel the positive vibes and love accompanying me. So, believe me, if you don't get all angry and rebellious, you will feel the strength :) I was one of the lucky ones, after two operations, only a small incision on the breast and no chemo... ;) Yes, it's long, scary and exhausting (I had radiotherapy) but I'm alive ;) and waiting does suck lol I prefer not thinking of it as a battle or fighting it, try to understand what it's telling you, it might be easier :)

I don't know you but my wish is very sincere, that this turns out to be nothing to worry about and you may get on with your life, in one that you will find every colour, sound and feeling more enhanced.. I think I understand a little of what you are going through.xx
