Description

Sure, nebulas can sometimes have lots of exotic molecules in them, and if you happen to find a condensing planetoid or large asteroid cluster you can get some really valuable finds, but the dangers just might outweigh the benefits... --- I've been wanting to play with my revised Asteroid Prospector for a long time, and this ended up being quite different from what I'd had in mind, but I think it makes for a cool picture anyway... Perhaps I shouldn't call this a Bryce image, however, the rocks and the ship were all done in Bryce (the ship is entirely my own creation, as is the materials on its hull, the rocks are all random rocks from Bryce with several renders using preset textures composited together) but the entire nebula, the starscape barely visible through the nebula, and all compositing and effects are in Photoshop. This really is the result of nearly the entire Adobe Creative Suite programs and Bryce combined, truth be told. Thanks for taking a look and comments, especially suggestions on how to improve this are certainly welcome. Without constructive criticism I can't get better, so don't worry about offending me if you have a suggestion/critique!

A very cool concept and image...though a bit dark (red is hard to work with)...the details look great in the larger view...I like it!! Excellent work!

Well, like they say; no pain, no gain. That's probably true for the nebula prospectors if it is for anybody.
