Description
Antother scene from the school feast last June. Everybody did something, teachers, relatives, students, and friends' friends. I made photos for a catalogue of the flowers the school will prepare for the next year.
This shot is dedicated to Flavia, to soothe her emotional turmoil as well as to show the treatment I made on her stiff shoulders last night. I hope she didn't have the same expression as the girl in the foreground (I couldn't see it). The more I look at this shot and the moore that girl looks both relaxed and a bit in pain. Am I wrong?
It's true that, in order to relax one sometimes has to suffer: for instance, when I submitted myself to a complete session of Rolfing. The rolfer made me shout more than once, not to speak of the cursing at his ancestors. The poor man was trying to de-knot my muscles, which were all clumps and twists after years of urban life. Some of you commented about my penchant for Oriental thought. Yes, and I even read the Cambridge History of Indian Thought in 4 volumes. Very heavy stuff, especially if dropped on one's foot!
Thank you for your kind comments.

Sure it made some good to Flavia ! It's not a funny thing to see one's image to be removed ! Wish she doesn't take it too badly : she's a strong mind :-D Great relaxing picture !

Sandra I couldnt' agree with you more as the young lady does have a look of both being relaxed and in pain so it was a great observation on your part. I'm so sorry to hear Flavia is still having troulbes and hope they are resolved soon.

Seeing all that relaxing looking massaging going on makes me jealous. I wish I could get such treatments once in awhile. I suspect Flavia was much appreciative of you comforting massage. A most delightful photo and subject.

just go to a health store and buy "calm" it the right mix of stuff to get you calm. it cheap too and no mystic in it. just the fact your body is lacking something to calm you down. wonderful image here

Great shot! I think the expression on the girls face is one of impending release. Perhaps she is getting emotional about the relaxation that is going through her body.
