Description

Captured 8/25/09, around 7:45 AM, within walking distance of my ignominious digs. Don't bother zooming, this is as big as it gets. This is just one of several Fountain Grass postings, photographed on two separate trips, that I have planned for this series. And, as previously noted, Rendo member morningglory is correct. I checked out the species and found that this is actually Fountain Grass, and not Foxtail as originally titled. Incidentally, Foxtail is dangerous to dogs. Ta-ta, and tallyho.

I used to have this growing by my pond in Bay Point; I love the colors of the grass and the changes that the tufting flowers go through. Nice shots of these feathery tassels in the sun!

Yes, these are wonderful weeds to photograph! I have many images where the sun hits them just so... just like your images do here. I won't say that someone needs to mow the lawn. grin lol.
