Description
No story, no poem, just 2 kitties having a lazy day :o) The big kitty is my Mistapus, and the photo was taken as he lazed in my hallway, and the photo of my Freddie aged 5 weeks, I took at the breeder's home, as he played with his siblings.
I made this especially for you all to thank you for all your support of my work, and especially to all of you who offered me huge support during these difficult times. I thank you for your well wishes and also for your prayers.
After my mother's home carer's over dosed her meds, nearly putting her into coma, I realised just how vulnerable she had become. It has been an agonising decision, but I knew she needed specialised care, especially as I am not well enough to give her the care she needs. I faced a long hard battle for to be able to get her in the care home in our village that fortunately does specialise in dementia care.
The good news is after Mum has been there on respite for 9 weeks, settled and happy, the authorities have granted her permanent residency. I had decided a while ago I would not give in, and took her case to appeal, and I won for my Mum's safety and future well-being for however long she has with me!!!!! She has a beautiful room with her own furniture in and has the best possible care. I get to see her whenever I wish and I can also take our dogs to see her too, plus she can come home to me when I feel well enough to bring her, and she is happier than I have seen her in a long time.
So thanks to you all for your prayers and well wishes, you really are the most wonderful caring friends that I could ever wish for.

Jane, I am so happy for you and your Mom.I'm glad to hear that you have found her somewhere wonderful to stay. I know how hard it is to take care of the elderly, I looked after my mom for 4 years and it wasn't easy at all! Another one of your exquisite images with your adorable fur kids, beautiful work all round!!

So glad to hear your mom is doing better...and your probably doing somewhat better yourself...great that you can take the dogs to see her...Great picture of the cats as always...Cessna been bugging me to put her on Renderosity...lol...today is a ruff day for me, would of been my 36th wedding anniv., my son is taking me up to Mt. Rainier where my husband and I spent part of our honeymoon.

Great news about your mum Janice, all your hard work has paid off & your mum is now safe & well looked after, I know she likes her new home & your worries about her being on her own, are no more. I love this pic of Mistapuss & Freddy relaxing, I am also so happy that Mistapuss is more relaxed in my company now & even last time settling in the bed near me, HONOURED or what!!!!!! Sis, this is such a warm and comforting image that I think so many of us need to start the day off right. Seeing Mistapus and Freddie lounging around brought a smile to my face and made me envy them just a bit. I know from our talks all you have been through recently with your Mum and I am so proud of you for making the best choices for her and standing up for her to get better care. The important thing is she is happier and now much safer and your able to relax just a bit

Wonderful image Jane. Even better news that you have your mom settled into her new home. She is probably happier because there are other people around for her to talk to and take care of her. I am happy things are working out for both of you. I hope your own health begins to improve now, without the stress of worrying constantly about your mom's saftey.
