Description

Here is one of my Arizona photos. I did some post work on this. (That is my daughter's hand) Due to my inexperience, I was a bit disappointed with a lot of my Arizona photos, but that is how ya learn. This rainbow was a full double rainbow and the whole color spectrum was there.. but I wasn't able to capture it. It was fantastic. My previous upload, "The Secret Life of a Bee". Thanks for looking :) It has been so hot here (triple digit temps), and Southern California seems to be burning everywhere. So the air is full of smoke and ash... blah. I have been cooped up indoors. I hope the weather is better where you are! HUGS, ~Melinda~

Rainbows are so elusive, but this is still pretty cool. I've seen people holding the sun loads of times, but never a rainbow! and I wish I could trade you some cold rainy-ness for some of that hot weather, it's been the chilliest, soggiest summer I can remember here in eastern Ontario.

I´ve never catched a rainbow with my camera - and you did! Wonderful! And the hand is a nice effect. Great composition!

Pretty good shot here, Melinda. Is that smoke from the Southern California fires up high in the sky? I wouldn't have known that was your daughter's hand unless you had told us. It looks like a catch basin of some sort. As for the dang weather, the only thing we don't have around my place is smoke and ash; other than that, it's hot, headachey, barely cools down at night, the blahs...
