Description
The last image pictured Elladan when he was young and unsure of himself. Oh, and he hadn't stumbled across the fact that he was rather talented in necromancer. Oh, wait, he prefers to be called a Blood Mage. He knows quite a lot about healing, but the little pack of skeletons that patrol the grounds around his cabin speak soundly of his other talents. He limits himself to skeletons (they're clean and they don't smell bad), and he also only raises orcs and the like who have assaulted friends or family. Once they pay their dues by guarding his cabin for a while he releases them to whatever hell awaits the spirits of goblinoids.
I think I've FINALLY settled on a hair for Elladan. Neftis' Mon Chevalier Hair (DAZ) with a few painted in extensions. He continues to wear the Paladin armor for M4 by Xurge (Xurge3d) with motif's add-on textures (Rendo). The skeletons are the M3 skeletons with Gareee's Bonez morphs applied (DAZ). The scythe is Poison's Omini Scythe (Rendo). The horse is of course the Mil. Horse (DAZ), and the horse is armored in the Dragon Lord Horse Armor (DAZ).
Lighting is LDP2 plus two distance lights. I actually went back to DS2 for this render simply because I had started it a few months ago in DS2 and the file won't open in DS3 (presumably because DS3 is the 64 bit version and installed in a different folder than DS2 so it can't find old files).

Now that's pretty fantastic! Great looking characters, a very clean and vibrant render, and an overall sense of action and drama. Excellent work, and an instant favorite!

I was able to use both DS2 and DS3 at the same time (installed in different folders but use the same runtimes) and, actually, for now I prefer to set the scene in DS2 (because it doesn't have that growning delay-to-select thing, and render in DS3. Not sure about 64 version, but hope this little knowledge will help ^_^ Very lovely image, I want to add. Elladan does look a bit overwhelmed by skeletons but the composition is nicely done :)

Very, very nice. The composition is excellent (maybe a LITTLE busy, but the cropping of the figures is fantastic); the lighting and textures are extremely well done. How'd you do that displacement (?) on the armor? I had to fitz with Xurge's disp maps to no end to get the work right in DS.
