Description

I love strange architecture and Friedensreich Hundertwasser has be up there amongst the top producers of strange architecture! This is the front of KunstHouse Wien (Vienna) - went there to see an H.R.Giger exhibition, and got 2 hits in one!! Well worth a visit if you are in Vienna. Moz.

Hundertwasser is one of my most very favourite artists, and his ideas for socila housing are beyond compare! Love this pic, but this place is not as colourful as some of his projects!

yes I agree, although while the social housing is more colourful on the outside, this place was even stranger inside (although never been inside one of his social housing projects). The floors are mosaic ripples, the interior walls tend to be curved (there is an "up hill" fountain in the reception area) and those trees near the top are growing out of top floor balconys !
