Description

Ultra Fractal 5.02 (5 layers used). Two things: again I suggest you zoom the image then to give it time to wreak its havoc for I'm playing with optical effects again and these tend to accentuate themselves as the eyes grow fatigued. My first inclination was to call the picture "Lurking," so a search for beauty was hardly a priority. I'm attempting two things. The first is to suggest the movement of water or fat as it becomes hot. This seems to work effectively though in a subdued fashion as you would expect. Not all parts of the picture move. The second attempt is to seek the impression of cooking itself by using the effect of eye fatigue but I may have the colours wrong. The after-image for green is red and the green does certainly become quieter. But inspecting it's after-image by closing the eyes suggests it changes more to a white-orange. I'll maybe have to work at it some more? Is orange warm - depends! Cliff
