Description
Captured 7/3/09, early in the morning, within walking distance of my habitual haunt.
Substantially better viewed full size.
Top two photos are of the same headlight, with #2 shown closer to the camera.
I have no idea as to the make and models of the vehicles involved. Am too busy shooting and then rapidly leaving the scene.
Toodles, and tallyho.

The top one looks like a rocketship; I like the shapes and the shininess of the chrome. Nice shots!

Ninja photography at it's finest. Stellar captures of these headlights and if the owners did see you they are probably thinking your casing their car LOL. Awesome fellow ninja.

Your description of your clandestine operation made me chuckle. Great photos. In responce to your comment, I'm afraid the menagerie of felines is already far from the beginning stage.

lol on your hit & run act! I wonder if it's harder after 9/11, or if it's always been like this. I guess there's no getting around it: Unless people are used to photographers, seeing someone leaning over private property & taking shots makes them a little queazy. Maybe you need one of those expensive photo-journalist bags & those vests with 8 million lenses in them so people might figure you're with the LA Times or something. I have a friend who likes to photograph trains, but it's apparently illegal in the US now, and he has to sneak around... Anyway, amazing lights, amazing complexity, and the bottom set is completely different, as if it were the two sides of the same car. I know front & back lights can be very different. Anyway, as you know, I zoom at everything; but with pieces of this complexity, zooming is a must. A fascinating & fun capture. It would be great if someone did a documentary on you & we could see the great Harry stealthily sneaking up on cars (cars!) and taking shots and running. And the talking heads would say, "we wouldn't have thought car-shots were a problem, but apparently people get very upset..." I love that a few of you here keep giving us these car lights. They're amazing to see, and the play between the different galleries is a great deal of fun.
