Description

Early Monday morning on Donner Lake. Jordan decided to take a paddle. He went across the lake, then around the short side and back. It's always smooth and calm that time of day; an hour later there were white caps on the water!! Later that afternoon we took that bike ride around the lake. I love it here, the moment I win the lottery, I'm buyin a house!! Maybe not RIGHT on the lake, but dang close!! OH yeah, paddleboarding is relatively new (though I saw it in Hawaii as well). Jordan's not even using an actual paddle board; it's part of windsurfing board and pretty wobbly. I wanted to try it, but decided not to swim so early in the morning!! I did see a woman take off on one, she had some pretty impressive equipment. Jordan said her board was probably over $1500 and her paddle about $200, pretty high tech stuff.

Stellar contrast and lighting in this morning shot of your Jordan, as he paddles his determined way across the lovely lake, Marilyn! The reflections, although undulating, are gorgeous.

Excellent shot! The reflections are amazing. Haven't they heard of canoes? It's much like this, only one sits in perfect comfort. :P

a beautiful tranquil shot, and the water is like a sheet of light & reflection, and the ripples are beautiful. Shimmering & very inviting. It looks so easy, and so calming too...don't know if it's as easy as it looks, but I imagine if you do it well, it's calming for sure...
