Wonderful abstract, and I see so many busy people at work. This has lots of human interest in it, and I "feel" the dynamism. Superb work, Ana.

This is like the fruit of life encompassed within one large fruit. The sweep of your brush creates a circle to hold and protect the action/movement that is happily taking place inside. It is almost womb-like in it's appearance as I can almost see people and faces. Very intriguing and well done!

wonderful comments here...I envy you this marvelous skill too! And I like the idea of a womb (Jodie) in which all these creatures seem to gather... It feels like a womb, in which you have 'beings' (ser), some almost human. And they're gathered in the womb, in the egg-like circle. And they're together, yet they're separate—almost like a 'microcosmo' of the world. Your brush-work is sublimely spontaneous, you always create a whole world with few strokes. And your brush-strokes are quick & very dramatic & vibrant; and your washes & grays always give us the feeling that we're looking at color, even though we're looking at black and white. And somehow, no matter how complex your paintings are, you always seem to make them "one," whole, complete. I totally agree with Jodie about it being a womb. Yet everything is active & living in this womb. "All in all". A very vibrant 'abstract', yet a painting of living organisms or 'parts' of living organisms. Nice to see you back on RR, Ana. Your work is always a swirl of inner power. Rest well, dear friend!

This is marvelous, as has been said above. I love the fluid, dynamic nature of this. It's like a dance and the contrasts are bold, but there are so many subtleties as well. This looks incredibly alive, incredibly fragile in a way, rather like an orchid in that it's something that really shouldn't exist if you stop and think about it, but then there it is. That's perfect. Superb. I love it.
