Great work, Ana! The point is very clear. You contribute something important to the getting attention to the problem. We have no trees threatened in the desert. However, finding ways to join forces with groups that are actively working to stop the destruction is important, no matter where one lives. Just complaining, talking and whining to those who agree does nothing to save trees. It just takes a little looking on the Internet to find constructive ways of acting, instead of talking, talking, talking about the problem. Thank you for your contribution, Ana.

Love the perpendicular lines that show things are not quite lining up. The wide swath of black (tree trunk is imposing but, it has fallen. So, I think the humans are gaining!! Nice work, Ana. Peace to you. Jodie

Another of your dramatic ink paintings, with sweeping horizontals—I see some fallen trees, like Jodie does—and your usual dramatic groupings of humans. The people look like people; but they also like tree trunks! What's so amazing about your ink paintings is that you create such sweep & drama, such sweeping action, your paper vibrates with energies. At the bottom of the people (or trees) you have these wonderful lines: In the right-side group, the feet have a wonderful circle with lines shooting out of it: It's like you just swept your brush across the bottom of your painting and swept your hand right off the side. (Whoosh!) This image is loaded with action. And it also has your grays & blacks & off-whites: You get a lot of hue-variation in your china-ink paintings. A dramatic sweeping piece. Hey! I've got some ideas for this! Maybe I'll tell you about them! (Should I? You think you'd be interested, lol???) Dramatic sweeping work. Boy, if I could make inks sweep like this, I'd be a very happy artist!
