Description

Now in my free stuff.Modeled in Wings3d.Rendered in Vue 6 with the default Lit Cruiser mat. For some reason Vue,Bryce, etc double the number of polygons in obj meshes created in Wings3d. So 6500 polygons become 13,000! Thanks for looking.

Awesome futuristic tower of Babel. I'd like to see it against a night time backdrop. I think this would show off the lights in the building. Gotta go look for this freebie! Thanks in advance!!!

This would be a fun place to hold technology conventions. : ) An inventive sci fi model. Wonderful texturing, design, and lights.

it's always fun to read the comments of those who've done these renders (ana & cathy come to me first, since I know them), because I wouldn't have a clue from my background. The vision is wonderful, complex & varied. The two most visible sides (another good angle for showing 3 sides of the structure, with a sliver of 3 on the right) seem to mimic each other, but they have real differences. And the line-patterns on some of the surfaces change from surface to surface as we move our way up the structure. What those line patterns are, we're not totally sure; but they feel right for architecture, as they correspond to imaginary structural features of the building. And you have those lights lacing the thing as we go upwards, and the irregular weave of them gives another visual layer to the piece. Good multiple shades & lights, and your background is kind of mythic. Would I stay in this hotel? Well I don't think I could afford it, lol, but I sure as hell would love to ride the elevators! Terrific complex vision.
