Description
This species is pretty common where I live. They have a wingspan of about 1 1/2" (36mm). I think this is a male because the top side of the wings had a distinctive black edge.
I noticed this one investigating a watermelon that was discarded because it was not ripe enough for me. He seemed to like it, lol.
Tomorrow starts another 7 image series on male Dragonflies. I posted such a series (and a series featuring females) a few weeks ago but these are other species I did not show in the first male series.
