Hi stranger :) Great creation Lewis the lighting & low cloud bank give great drama to the overall scene & the emptiness in the atmos above allows for the moon to sit comfortably. However I wonder why you didnt work more into the terrain? 1280 Version looks better IMHO...more details :-)

There is so much of this that I like that rather than exhaustively list all of the wonderful details, I'll just say that the whole thing fits together nicely. The work you've put into this pays off. I love the clouds on the horizon, and the kind of "Ray Bradbury" feeling that I get when I look at this. It recalls Mars as portrayed in his Martian Chronicles with those terrace-shapes giving hints and whispers to a long-vanished civilization. At least that's the mood that I get for this...not something derivative of Bradbury so much as something as powerfully evocative as something he'd do. This is great work and I'm glad I discovered your gallery.
