Description

This is the sign out in front of the "compound" where my son lives. There are about 10 old cabins, originally used for summer vacations. His house has a huge window that looks across the street at Donner Lake. When I win the lottery, I am buying a house here~~~ And you will all be invited to my housewarming!!

Get the bombay saphire Gin in with ice and lemon and enough tonic water, scotch for honey :D...Oh and Glenfiddich for auntie, and not forgetting that Tequila for your good self, and this house warming will be a blast...Oh what a hoot...Great shot of this neon sign, you should shoot it at sundown and really make it pop :)

I love these old signs. Donner Lake is a great area, I came up on day hikes when I lived in Sacramento. Nice image.

Shades of the Bates Motel in the movie, Psycho, by Alfred Hitchcock! I love every scintilla of this! Did you get to meet Anthony Perkins? Stellar POV, clarity and lighting in this capture, Maz!

I've stayed at places like this in the mountains and haven't been disappointed. I'll be at the house warming and any old beer is fine with me.

a nice capture of a beautiful old sign, and the sky & trees behind it are very nicely captured too. I know the feeling of looking at such things, and it's really exciting. Hope you do win the lottery one day & buy something on this beautiful lake and land...you've shared it beautifully with us...
