Description

*puts grumpy old man hat on* Back when I was a kid (1950s), we had a thing called imagination. We didn't need batteries and if we had asked mom and dad if they'd spend a few hundred bucks on an electronic game box and a few hundred dollars worth of games, they would have stared and then started laughing. We hated staying inside and did strange things like go outdoors to play. Remember grass stains? What a concept. *takes hat off* Inspired by a demo I saw of the Beatles video game coming out. I love the Beatles and if this spreads their music to a new generation, I'm all for it. Not sure what the game is all about but having to buy little plastic instruments, besides the game box itself, just to play and sing along with music seems pretty odd. Hell, have you seen the price of a good air guitar? I'll tune up my tennis racket and challenge any of them.

This is really fine! I'm putting on my "grumpy old man hat" right along with you. Another thing kids lack today is time and space to just be by themselves. They are kept busy to the point of stress out.

Great image and concept Superfrog. As a kid I liked taking a real large cardbord box (Stove sized) and poke tiny holes in one side, inside a make believe viewscreen. That box became my spaceship. The dots were stars. My erector-set allowed me to make a cool control panel.. and I was off on my latest great space adventure. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

The "guitar" players look familiar, somehow. I'm wondering who the girl grew up to be? ;-)
