Description

The text was done in Photoshop and used as a transparency just under the water's surface to get the warpage. Clicked "additive" under Material Options in the Material Lab to make it brighter.

I know the sight of a guy in a derby with an umbrella will bring Magritte to mind for some, but as much as I admire Magritte's work, this has nothing to do with him. I just like the old Poser Dork Businessman as the "ordinary man".

An ideal accompaniment to a slate-grey mood. I think its impact - which is considerable, by the way - would not be lessened if the ghost woman were not there; it might even be increased.

I don't know how I missed this one. This is a masterful image...I can almost feel this poor man's sorrow and lonliness at the loss of his loved one. Yet at the same time there is a serenity to the mood of this scene...as if the apparition has brought him a measure of comfort. Very well done!!!!!
