My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Wonderful place to stop for a peaceful rest. Great DOF and as mentioned above, the natural framing with the trees is awesome. Happy Birthday Denise and many, many more. Dana

not many artists can capture so much in such an intimate space, and that alone makes it a perfect Denise gift. It has the shimmer yet intimacy of Denise's work. And it has her light too. And yet it's all you. How you get these visions in these small 'lockets' of art I don't know. I have a hard enough time stopping at 4 or 5 images, but you see it all in one intimate vision. The light on the water has been coaxed out with magic, the silver-blues are beautiful; the bluish hues in the background trees are rich & deep; the yellow greens of the midground are just right for the shot; and the "table" of flat ground beyond the pond is the perfect opening (replete with cows, a real pastoral image). And that big white swath down bottom is somehow the perfect accent. Then the two dark trees on either side make us feel like we're peeking 'in'—another Denise trait (the feeling that even a large vista is her own private view). Gorgeous, an uncanny piece of channeling of your wonderful friend, and a beautiful image in its own right. I want to cover every image here, tara, but I can only do a few this time around. I'll share more one place or the other, next time, in email, however...your work is just too good to not commune with...

Beautiful place. If I were a cow I'd want to be there too!
