Hi Denise, Since you have a special affinity for certain English things...I thought you might like this English Sparrow for your birthday today!
I've been trying unsuccessfully for months to get a sharper focus on one of these guys (also known as a House Sparrow here in North America) but other than some graininess, this guy looks pretty handsome this morning. Hope you like him:)

Oh, thank you so much Bill! Yes, I do seem to be a bit of an Anglophile :) It's a wonderful little bird, and yes, getting a clear shot is hard as they move around so much and so quickly...I so appreciate your dedi, and hope you're doing better post-surgery too!

Nice one bud :)...Yup they are fleet of foot, but great to see, we had a virus here a couple of years back that all but destroyed the common sparrow, so this is a great shot to see for a brit,..and a wonderful dedi to the missus!
