Description
Today my son is 18, a man. He is a pretty good man. Has a job and a car, wants to marry someday and have 2 or 3 kids. He still isn't sure of a career, but he's taking business classes. Today isn't just Patriot Day or the day the Twin Towers fell, it is also National Important Things Day. So remember the important things in your life such as your family and your friends. And remember to tell them how much you love them. Remember that good things happened on this day, too.
Thank you for looking and Blessed Be
Shawnda

Shawnda it is such a pleasure to see you post once more. Happy Birthday to your son and I'm certain you raised him to be the man he is today and will be in the future. This is a wonderful dedication to him and a memorial for 9/11

Shawnda, what a beautiful, personal statement about what 9/11 means to you. You also wrote a very sincere caption to accompany your son's photo. You said lots of truths. On the day the TT fell, my youngest so, Andy (who was 21 years old at the time), was in the vicinity of the WTC. We lost communication with him, phone calls were not getting through and I was not allowed to drive into the city. They were horrifying hours until we heard that Andy was okay. When I read statements such as the one you wrote, I remember the sunken feeling I felt in the pit of my stomach on that they. Happy Birthday to the young lad, and may he enjoy many, many, many more. It was nice receiving the message that you had posted again. Stay well. Clemente

I just found your gallery. You responded to my last post. Thanks! I just had to tell you that you are so right about the good things that happened that day. I worked for an OB/GYN doctor at that time. We were in the middle of a delivery when the first crash happened. As that terrible day unfolded, we were bringing a new life into the world. The beautiful little boy was born between the two crashes. His parents had waited for over 12 years to have a baby. They had given up hope. As people were dying, an innocent life was just starting. Maybe he will be onr that helps heal this broken world.
