This is a full, big screen image, please do Ros justice and take a look at her up close.
This, my 100th image, I gladly dedicate to my dear friend Valery (Godin). I had thought I would start the new Ishtar series at 100 but this wonderful wood elf compelled me to make her my 100. This is Val's beautiful character Rose, but in my world she goes by her by her Gaelic name, Ros. Whatever her name, she is an absolute delight to work with, Val does such a fantastic job with the skin tones of her characters and both Ros and her sister Dena hold such wonderful facial expressions. Here Ros graces us with a beguiling smile. Isn't she is just so enchanting?
I am taking my third level of certification in photoshop and believe me this image gave me plenty, and I mean tons, of opportunity to work with that program! Oh my indeed, I am glad that I love doing postwork, because this one gave me several evenings of practice!
I am going to stop saying that I don't do portraits because when I look at my gallery I have plenty of portraits. But I have just never been really happy with them; lighting has always been a struggle. But maybe I'm finally learning something, because it seems to have worked here if I do say so myself. So I am very pleased to make this my 100th image. To me it shows some progress in a genra that I have worked hard to improve on and that is always worth a bit of celebration :-)
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has ever commented on one of my images, for all the favs and for all the kind words of support both in the gallery and in private site mails. You have all helped to give me faith in myself and many of you have stood by me in hard times. I have learned so much from being here and I love you all. It is a great community; we must cherish it for what it is. It is not perfect but it is the best that we have.

First congrats with your 100th post of your creativity. I had the honour and pleasure to been able to see you post the last ones here. Your eye for creating scenes and all the details is amazing and makes one keep looking. The lighting is always one that fits the scene in the right way to enhance the mood even further and that combined with the intriging story/words makes it complete. The characters in the scene did not just walk in, but really belong. Thks for sharing. And hey you made Ros (beautifull Rose) look great. Cant wait for the next series Hug

Her green eyes are very beautiful, the skin texture are first class, I like the hairstyle (not sure about the reddish tint though) and the leaf-makeup is fabulous!. Most important is that she is a real character with some sadness in her (but not too much) . But when shall the story begin? Impatienca!

first congrats to the 100th,then you did a very fine work,great character from val and the ligting is superb. and great words about the community,of course it is not perfect ,nothing indeed is,in fact perfect things are suspicious at least to me,but it is a wonderful community,and it is up to us,to each and everyone to keep it that way. i am always sad when i see tha quarrels going on,as for example the one is jealous that the other one gets more comments, hey thats kindergarten -crap,but then some people need this because they have a lack in the evolution ,maybe missed a stage hehehehe. all the best to you roxy.hugs from spain
