Description

"Looks like we picked up an unexpected stowaway at that last spaceport!" Hello and thanks for looking... I've been having some problems with Poser lately... I loaded the new Freak4 and the V4/M4 Creature Creator morphs, and when I loaded V4 into a Poser scene, it would crash. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling V4, M4, F4, and even Poser 7, with not much luck (originally the problem affected V4 and M4, and Poser would crash when I tried to move the Main Camera in the scene. Now Poser crashes when I try to save any scene with Vicky4 in it). Has anybody seen this problem before, and can anyone give me a suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks and have a great weekend, Tom Seaview123

Very nice work! If you are running on a PC, Have you tried to Re-install Direct X, if you are getting any type of error message on the crash. Try tpying exactly what you see into your most trusted search engine. That usually works for me.

I have had pose crash a couple times, but having a lot of problems with some of my other graphic progams. Some props and clothes seem to trigger it. I am not sure why. By any chance are you using Vista or more specifically Vista 64? I have not heard of anyone having problems with XP. As to Freak 4 I it was a major disapointment, clothes do not fit. Daz response was it works in studio...I say it should work in both. Texture for freak4 looks worse than 3 with micheal 3 hi res texture. I bought creature creator also, but have not used it. I note that DAZ sent me an e-mail with upgraded files in my account for micheal 4, also noted creator for victoria is for 3 not 4. AS to your render, It is nicely posed but on my monitor the girl looks to be made of plastic (is that on purpose?) and the monster looks to be extremely low res (a freebie maybe?)

Cool one Tom, but it looks like he may eat her out of house and home or just plain eat her. Sorry about all the problems your having, I hope someone can resolve them for you soon.

My advice, steer clear of the Daz Generation 4 figures! Avoid them like the plague!! (These figures are now being specifically designed for use with DAZ Studio, and so come with built in problems in Poser. DPH

virus scan... hope you figure it out...worked on an upload today and every ime I tried to render, if shrunk and stretched the background - after playing with this for hours, I have come to the conclusion that I saved my 3d work with shadow... when I uploaded it and a background and tried to render without a shadow it screwed with the background size... I finally put the shaeow back on and it rendered the way I thought it would.... Have you defragmented your computer lately???

I remember seeing a post on the Poser forum about someone having crashes when M4 was added to a scene. I've had a quik look but can't find it. If you post on the forum you might have some luck. Nice render btw, how did they not spot that one?

Freak was the first failure that poser had for me. Thanks for letting us know about the creature morphs. Daz said it's a poser scale issue and they are currently working on it. I dropped Poser 7 because it doesn't work with Vue. I am back to using poser 6 until both companies realize that their products need to play well with others.

Great looking scene, Tom! The poor guy is just asking for directions to the nearest restroom, he's picked up a stomach virus! or else he's asking for a cup of coffee! Wish I could help you, I'm using DAZ

That is one horrific creature (in a good way). Her costume is so cool. I've been using Carrara. Haven't used Freak or Creature Creator (was thinking about using this for some upcoming ideas though). I hope your problem is solved.
