Description

*The only infallible criterion of wisdom to vulgar minds- success.* E. Burke -This is a mixed creation out from pencils, watercolours and Indian Inks. I was followed by a real painter when I was attempting this.. firstly it was meant to be only a sketch, but he helped me in developing this mixed texture... Half of the merit for this stays in his advices. It's sort of an unique piece because without his pushing I never was able to create anything as valid with the mixed techniques, and also I wasn't inspired similarly by no other subjects :)-

it took me one entire week to made that :P :P :P It was like a very demanding offspring :P Glad you liked it :) I wasn't really meant to post any of the paints I did lately, but I am very short in my time these days and so.. I thought anyway I could have post them. My scanner is hating me ;) Tomorrow it will be a sort of "Memory Day" of my 16een artworks.. beware: it'll be funny :)

Another beautiful piece, at first it looks simple, but the composition takes you eye in and holds it there.........the light is fantastic, it is extremely good for the way you made it.

I wouldn't have been able to do anything without that man's advices.. I believe when people express their feelings in a comfortable way for themselves firstly, there are no ratings really in the artistical expression: it becomes all a matter of taste :) Your works show as much feelings as mines: if you feel there for sirst there's something in your works which means something, then you have to be satisfied, regardelessly of others' views about it. I think your way to drawn emotionally edging portraits is marvellous :) You should think so too: the love in their eyes when you drawn down is the love you feel for those people in your heart. That's the meaning of art :) Love or Hate.. but I prefer when it's love :)

Extremely good! It seems a "Macchiaioli" picture. Colors saturated but not disturbing. GREAT IMAGE!

This I really do like alot! You are very clever with colour Meli. No matter how much help and advice you get at the end or the day it is the hand that is lead by the eye that counts.. I would love to see more of these works if you have any.. I hope there are a few in the pile you intend scanning. Lovely stuff
