Description

*Thus ye live on high, and then on the earth ye live again; and the souls ye left behind you teach us, here, the way to find you, where your other souls are joying, never slumber'd, never cloying.* John Keats, taken from "Ode" ----------------------------------------------- This is my memory of saying bye to London, the most touching, poetical of all towns, where I lived in happiness and shared hours with very special people :) I'd like also to thank you Toulouz, dear caring friend, who took time to visit me and make me even happier. We'll meet again... and who knows, we might visit the Tate together for real that time! Next week I'll upload the two countryside paintings (if you can call them so) that I promised to finish. :)

Stunning, I think one of the hardest things is to draw eyes with expression. Good work.

thanx to all :) To you Alan I can especially say that my friends I met here, seeing it have said "Your were having the same expression before you left and burst in tears..." and actually that feeling was what I wanted to replicate.. you know, something like "The joy and pain of say goodbye after a great time" :) well, anyway, thanx for teh appreciation. From now on I will just post one or two works at week, I am just too taken by work& stuff :( But it's good to be back :)

I can see the Austin-Healey 100-6 you are getting into after stunning her that you are leaving. I run throuhg the odd words. Bonnet? no that is the hood! Boot? No, that is the trunk. Tonneau? That is only the surround of the top. The thing you put down to open the top of the car is called ??? So no sublet and no sharing the electric and worst of all the car was only rented!!! Stunner!!

mmh.there's something which doesn't really convince me there. The expression is good, the hair I like them but to me the eyes are not that glowing as you could have menaged to do... It is a beautiful concept with a little bit of mistake in the final rendition of it.
