Description
It is not the destination but the journey itself. How many times have we heard that and perhaps did not understand the message or just ignored it? More times than we can count, I am sure. What is it that we wish to experience? Money?... happiness?... a new car? We do not always know but somewhere along the way, we will make a decision... a choice... to move forward towards that which we desire. How do we get there? We get there by creating a mental equivalent. So today... just for today... let us create a mental equivalent of that which we desire. It can be whatever we wish it to be. We start by allowing ourselves to feel what it would be like to have what we wish... does it have a color?... does it have a shape? Maybe it does and maybe it does not. Whatever it is, we can visualize for ourselves what we would feel if we were to have our desire take form in our lives. Now that we can create the feeling or emotion, let us put ourselves into the picture as well. There we are ready to experience this new event. We give ourselves permission to enter the scene. Now let us move around in our scene. What do we see? Can we touch anything? Or perhaps it is our feelings that we wish to embrace. Let us move about a little more. Are there other possibilities waiting to enter our scene? Maybe... we just have to be open to their presence and they will make themselves known to us. To reach the goal, we have to imagine the journey. The trick for us is to make it a pleasant journey. The choice is ours and will always be ours. And perhaps along the way we will learn the lesson that is being brought to us. It may just surprise us to find out that we can and will succeed in any journey that we choose to undertake if we believe in our abilities to handle whatever comes along our way. How divine. How simply divine.

The original flame was created with Apophysis 3D Hack. The seed script used in this flame was the 3D_Scry_JulianN_Script by Bart Doetsch. The script can be found on the Deviant Art web site in the fractal resources section. Post work was done in Paint Shop Pro. The inset image is the original flame. The main image was then run through the Mehdi Kaleidoscope 2.1 filter along with some other tweaking in PSP.

Wow! You've opened up a whole new world to me with these plugins! I had no idea they existed! So here, I had a choice .. read your words .. or not. I chose to read. And in choosing to read, I learned something new! There are always choices. Not choosing is also a choice, grins. So, today's choice gave me new avenues to explore, and new beauty to feast my eyes on! The colors here are glorious! This plug in has taken a beautiful fractal and enhanced it amazingly!
