The Tree That Teaches Me
I seen the beautiful tree
As the sun blinded me
In the field upon the hill
Is where the tree stood so still
Its branches stretching far and wide
Step by step I reach its side
The side the light never sat
The side moss grows to that
To that the tree I did reach
A natural way the tree to teach
Us the beauty in it all...
The tree so wide the tree so tall

Oh WoW WoW WoW!!! Therese, I feel like I'm falling in a sleep under a cool shadowy tree where the cool wind blows! Oh how much I love it!!! You seem to love nature very much and I feel like you were thinking about mountain biking is it? The verses of your poem are so enchanting... you know, if I were with you under that tree and you start reading your verses, I would have slept because of it's sedating effect! The poem seems to be incomplete by the way, looks like you're working on it! Is it?

What simply special words to fit with your wonderful sparkling sunlit tree! I've always been drawn to the north side of our trees here. The soft velvet moss is so lovely.
