Road of Life
Coming around the road of life
I stopped to watch a bird fly by
A colorful flower that smelled so sweet
To the path of mystic curves
There below the hill was a lake
Where fish swam as geese flew in
I settled beyond the shady tree
The leaves of the tree were dying in color
Soon to fall beneath the cold snow
Yet though before me this beautiful day
And into the night the rested babies
Stars above twinkle in the night
While the moon sat high and full
The sounds of life so peaceful
I realized my path of life is here
To enjoy what God has given me
All the peaceful beauty around
No love greater than we allow

Good Morning Good People,
Today I have for your viewing and reading, “The Road of Life”. The image I made tonight is just one layer in Ultra Fractal. Both the poem and image is one of the same. I knew when I saw my finial cut in the image that the poem belongs with this image as one.
The spiral is the road, kind of like the Yellow Brick Road. Long, never ending and winding, gold is for life, as is my palette of choice to represent all of us, see the little spirals too. I wrote the poem below when I was grieving the lost of my Daddy-o; I was lost for many years in a state of depression. No matter how low I got I had my hope, faith and Love of God. I would think about the good times I used to have in the woods and the beauty of it all. It produced the beauty of nature in both my poem and image. Know that it never can get too bad that suicide might feel like the only way out. It’s not. God is the only way out. He gives us these trails with trials in life, hence “The Road of Life” to lead us to better a life. Wiser we grow throughout woes, and misfortune. We learn from these lessons He gives us. In return we teach another; each growing more as a human being.
Allow yourself to feel love or be loved. Love the little things in life they mean the most. We have hills to climb. Paths still needed be paved with many curves and dips. Knowing that each path I pave I get stronger and life is beautiful. I am much stronger because I allowed love. What would be greater?
