Thank you for stopping by, having a look and/or leaving comments. I look forward to your visits and words :) This is a zinnia bud in my backyard, taken with my 100mm Macro lens. I have been pretty busy and haven't had time to spend here. I am getting ready for a little trip with my Mom. We will be heading to Shari's neck of the woods. I am hoping to see a little of Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Black Hills. Oh, and this will be my very first plane trip... I am a little NERVOUS and excited too. I should be here for one more photo upload before I leave. I am clearing all my sd cards to make room for LOTS of photos. And my husband made me a portable/rechargeable external hard drive thingy to load my pictures on so I can reuse my cards if they get full before I come home. Ain't he grand?! Stellar softness in this colorful macro, Melinda! Wow, it looks like some kind of fruit parfait, with cold pineapple spears enveloping shredded strawberries in the middle. And your very first plane trip? A stimulating experience, indeed! The best part is in the air, and the worse part is at the airport, especially LAX. You'll also see tons of cellphones in use.
